Commercial Sector Patient Care Programs

“Commercial” refers to other health care insurance companies outside of Medicare and Medicaid.  Examples would include national health plans such as United Healthcare and Cigna, or smaller Missouri regional plans. Commercial plans typically have a contracted network that delivers care to their members.  Thus, there is potential opportunity to become part of a given network.  Such plans may require provider credentialing to deliver patient care services.

MO-PCN looks to identify future commercial patient care programs, keeping the network informed of opportunities and supporting access as needed.
